Q:
What's the difference between albacore, white and light tuna?
A:
White tuna is the same thing as albacore tuna. It has a milder flavor
and whiter flesh than the tuna labeled "light," which can
come from skipjack, yellowfin or bonito tuna. White tuna is usually
more expensive and higher in calories and fat, but from another point
of view, the extra cost could be worthwhile. |
