It is our desire to support our customer at all stages of their involvement with rubber from initial idea through design and development to the provision of reliable cost-effective finished parts.   RUBBER PROCESSING RAW MATERIAL WEIGHING Raw rubber and compounding ingredients are weighted up to appropriate formulation to produce engineering rubber materials with specific properties.   COMPOUNDS MIXING Mixing of the raw rubber and compounding ingredients is carried out on internal mixer to produced rubber compounds.   RUBBER COMPOUNDS   PREFORMING The rubber compound is sheeted and cut or preformed to produce blanks suitable for moulding in to finished parts. At this stage the rubber compound is unvulcanised and when warm is easily squeezed into shape.   MOULDING There are three main methods of moulding:   1.EXTRUSION  MOULDING Rubber compound is heated up in heating cylinder, fed forward continuously by screw, the moulded product in the shape of regular sectional form is pressed out through DIE by the rotation of the screw and inner pressure.   2.INJECTION MOULDING Heated compounding material is injected under pressure through a series of feed gates into the cavity itself.   3.COMPRESSION MOULDING In which a rubber blank is  placed between two halves of a mould and squeezed into shape under heated up and compressed by the press.   FINISHING Rubber mouldings normally require a finishing operation to remove excess rubber or "FLASH" resulting from tool split lines or feet gates.
